Manufactured cigarette classes

The source groups regular and kingsize formats near 7.8–8.0 mm, compact formats near 6.8–7.1 mm, and slim formats near 5.1–6.8 mm. These dimensions describe construction, not health risk.

Cigars and cigarillos

Premium cigars use filler, binder and wrapper leaves. Cigarillos and little cigars use smaller or machine-made constructions and may include filters or flavour casings.

Bidis

Bidis use tobacco wrapped in tendu or similar leaf. Their small size does not indicate lower harm. Combustible tobacco causes serious disease across formats.
